On this special Insider Journey, inspired by the success of our sold-out Journey in 2018, you will meet with experts in the field of Egyptology—including the famous archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass—for exclusive access to such monuments as the Sphinx, as well as touring at the Pyramids of Giza, the Khan El-Khalili bazaar and King Tut’s Tomb. Then, you can immerse yourself in the legendary cities, tombs and temples of ancient Egypt from the exclusive vantage point of the Nile River, aboard Oberoi’s luxurious river cruiser, the Zahra. Traveling by water allows you to easily move from Luxor to Edfu and Aswan (avoiding hours of driving), while private, expert-guided tours at such iconic sites as Philae and the Valley of the Kings and special immersion experiences like camel rides and cocktail receptions at legendary hotels bring history to life.
