With one third of all of the world’s antiquities and the only remaining one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (the pyramids at Giza), Egypt has drawn tourists for thousands of years. From the Greeks and Romans to Napoleon and Mark Twain, travelers have come to see the glorious temples built by the pharaohs. Today, the mix of ancient monuments and Biblical landscapes continues to bewitch, making the country a must-in-a-lifetime visit.

      Day 5-10: Nile Cruise

Spend the remainder of your time in Egypt on a cruise, which makes stops along the river at various temples in Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombro and more, depending on the boat. Guests on a dahabiya (a traditional Nile boat) can enjoy opportunities for swimming and additional stops that the river cruises aren’t able to access.
