No Latin American destination matches the drama of Argentina—be it the passionate tango or the highest peaks of the Andes rising from the flat plains. Having welcomed more European immigrants in the 19th and 20th centuries than any country in the world beside the United States, Argentina is a melting pot of cultures, cuisines and experiences. The language is Spanish, but the accent is Italian and the architecture is French. Here, highlights include, but are not limited to: vast Patagonia, the winelands of Mendoza and the cultural hub of Buenos Aires.

Itinerary Highlights
Tango dancing and shopping in Buenos Aires, visiting polo retreats, wine tasting in Mendoza, glacier hiking in Patagonia.
Day 1-3: Buenos Aires
Travelers could easily fill their time in Buenos Aires with nothing but shopping and dining, but they’d miss out on amazing art museums like Malba and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and such sporting events as a polo or soccer match. Indagare members can contact our Bookings Team for help with trip planning, including behind-the-scenes access, customized recommendations, itineraries and excellent guides.
Day 4-7: Patagonia
Enjoy several days in Patagonia, an otherworldly destination with lunar-like landscapes, deep glacial lakes and spectacular glaciers. The Southern Patagonian Ice Field feeds almost 50 glaciers, but Perito Moreno is arguably the most famous. Indagare advises planning far ahead to get the most out of a trip to Patagonia; contact us to arrange private full-day treks and visits to local estancias.
Day 8-9: Mendoza
End your trip in the indulgent Mendoza wine region, which receives more than 300 days of sunlight each year. Days seem to slip away quickly here, so resist the urge to over-schedule. Three winery visits—the third with reservations for a lunch pairing—will leave you both full and fulfilled. By dessert wine, everyone is ready for a siesta, so book a spa treatment or find a chaise in the sun and snooze away the afternoon.
